Design and ergonomics
In Three’s eyes, the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE looks very nice and expensive. It may not be to everyone’s liking for the green variant of the smartphone that we reviewed, but the black and white looks simply luxurious. Particularly noteworthy is the “floating” block of cameras. Now you can immediately determine the owner of a fresh Samsung from it. The matte back is very aesthetically pleasing and does not leave fingerprints, while the brushed aluminum frame promises not to pick up air scratches like glossy surfaces do. Three is pleased to note that the phone fits perfectly in the hand. It came out light and relatively thin. So, it is convenient to use it even without a case – the dimensions of the device: 74.5 x155.7×7.9 mm. Matte back cover is tactile pleasant. The smartphone does not strive to slip out of the hands even in cold weather. By the way, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is protected according to the IP68 standard. Therefore, immersion in water or snow, he is not afraid.
Display
Three draws attention to the huge contrast Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a diagonal of 6.4″ and a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 7 Victus. The display is flat, without an influx on the side faces, with a small chin at the bottom. The responsive screen is covered with a high-quality oleophobic coating. Peak brightness is enough for comfortable image perception, even under sunlight. Indoors, 70-80% brightness will be quite enough.
Three is pleasantly surprised: the 120Hz refresh rate is luxurious. Especially against the backdrop of Apple. These continue to put 60 Hz screens in their younger versions. Interface animations are smooth. Flipping through the tape and surfing the Internet is a real pleasure. It does not affect the gameplay or watching videos in any way. In all other aspects, this quality is very noticeable.
The front camera is located in the center of the top of the screen.
Sound
The sound through a standard Type-C adapter is transmitted at a good level for a smartphone, you can use it with wired headphones comfortably.
An excellent conversational microphone, which is especially noticeable during a speakerphone conversation. The speakers work well – they are quite loud. At the same time, the sound is well transmitted when viewing content and during gaming.

Three notes the quality of the “ultra-wide” – it produces the most contrasting and saturated photos with viewing angles. They come out close to amateur fish-eye lenses. Apparently, pictures from it are automatically processed more strongly than from the main module. But as a result, you immediately get beautiful wide-angle photos that can be uploaded to social networks.
The 30x hybrid zoom looks impressive – good detail on distant objects. The night mode is a little worse, but it also works well.
Three draws attention to the front camera. It has 32 megapixels (f/2.2, 26mm (wide), 1/2.74″) and produces good contrast photos without blurring or noise. In good daylight, you might not realize that this is a selfie camera.
Performance
Of course, the Three store has 6 GB / 128 GB and 8 GB / 256 GB versions, but the hardware is the same on them. On both versions, the interface works smoothly, which is especially felt at 120 Hz. The in-display fingerprint scanner works flawlessly.
autonomy
With aggressive use, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE lasts 13 hours and 17 minutes. In such conditions – an excellent result, given the battery capacity of 4500 mAh.
From 0% to 100% of a simple ten-watt (5 V 2A) charge, the smartphone was charged in 1 hour 46 minutes. By the way, the device supports 25W fast charging and wireless power up to 10W.
